While editing the video I kept complaining about the poor pre-production work, such as not adjusting the white balance, and the fact that the video kept shaking, and even recorded the photographer's own speech. But when I found out after a chance encounter, I discovered that the amount of pre-production work was also huge.

By chance, I got the experience of working on my own in pre-production, and it was my first time shooting a wedding and my first time shooting a commercial video. I was very nervous and excited, even though I was in the most relaxed position, filming the bridesmaids and groomsmen. However, we had to shoot half an hour beforehand (5:30 local time) as the clients started to put on their make-up and get their outfits early, and I think the biggest difficulty for me was the customer service. Because we were involved in the client's life circle, human interaction was essential to get natural and joyful footage, and at the same time not to interfere too much with the client, instead of during the wedding shoot I only had to photograph the expressions of the audience under the stage, which allowed me to record many faces of blessing and envy and encouraged my interest in filming. I am also grateful to the company for allowing me to try my hand at filming and learn a lot.

The most important thing about a good film company is not how good the photography skills are, or how professional the video editing is. Rather, it is the mutual understanding between pre and post-production that leads to a good final product.”
